Local Signage
Current signage:
Pros: None
Cons: Non-uniform font face. Signage mess and clutter. Harsh on the eye. Placenames in CAPITALS are harder to read. Irish barely visible from 200 metres.
Proposal #1:
Pros: Neat. Pleasing to the eye. Easy to distinguish between languages
Cons: Possible extra cost with two colours
E.g: Northern Scotland
Proposal #2
Pros: Easy to read. Neat. One colour, cheaper to manufacture
Cons: Harder to distinguish between languages
E.g:: Wales and Valencia
